About the Association :-

PURPOSE:- In G.I.D.C. Estate, Visnagar there are many small scale, Medium ana large Industries. The administration and management of the estate was done by G.I.D.C. Mehsana Office. Due to this reason the unit holders had to go at Mehasana for all the work either it is minor or major and due to that, they had to spend more time and had to face many difficulties. To avoid these problem we decided to form an Association of unit holders and thus the G.I.D.C. Industries Association came into existence. This Association is registered under Truse Registration and also have 80-G Certificate. All the procedures are done officially as per rules for each and very work. At present the association is managing the estate by water supply, Street Lights, Roads and Cleanliness. It has it's own office situated on second floor of GIDC complex, Which also is the property of the Association. The association arranges various types of Seminars and programmes for members and for the development of the industries.

DEVELOPMENT :- Just two years have been passed to formation of the Association but in this short period it has developed the estate and itself. It has it's own office withal facilities. It may be noted that G.E. Board, Head office, Baroda has given the light bill collection center to the association in it's office. Also G.I.D.C. has approved the demands of Association to develop the estate. A sump for storage of water of Dharoi, the approval of which is already given by concern authorities, a Tube well room, Office, Guest Room and Gardening round these is to be done in near future. Also the association has it's own community Hall with all facilities. The Association has demanded from G.I.D.C. the R.S.NO:126, Which is lying idally in estate to develop the small scale industries by building small shades in which the small units will be established. Also it has approached to Central Govt. authorities for Taranga-Ambaji Railway line which is now under planning.

FINANCIAL STATUS :- At Present the Association has fixed assets of worth Rs.25 Lakh, Rs.7,00,000 are in deposit with GSNL, Rs.4,00,000 are in BOB savings Account and some cash is on hasd. Thus more than Rs.45 Lakhs are with the Association, Which will be utilized in development of the estate and industries.
